Delivery

The cost of delivery will depend on a number of factors, including the size and weight of your delivery as well as your location (we currently only deliver within Ireland).

However, these are the main charges that will apply, applicable within Ireland only.

 

An Post Delivery (seeds & very small items): €1.50
Standard Parcel Delivery with An Post: €6.00
*parcels up to 10kg or within dimensions (length 1.5 metres length plus girth 3 metres)

 Delivery via Courier: €15.00
*parcels up to 25kgs and with a maximum length of 2 metres

We offer free delivery for online spends over €100 on standard items within Ireland (excludes pallet delivery for large/bulky items)

All standard deliveries will be completed within 5–7 working days via an post/courier. We aim to dispatch standard items within 48 hours of your order being placed. We will notify you if there is a delay.

Pallet Delivery (large or bulky items e.g. large BBQs, garden furniture, water features): From €49 per pallet

We use a trusted delivery service for furniture and large, bulky items. Please allow 5–7 working days for this service. The delivery company will contact you before delivery as you will need to be in to sign for your order. Deliveries cannot be left that have not been signed for.

*Please note that the delivery company will not remove/take back packaging or pallets.

We will always try our best to meet your expected delivery date, however, there may be times when we are unable to do this for reasons outside of our control. In the event of unforeseen circumstances (traffic accident, very severe weather, etc.), we will do our best to contact you at the earliest opportunity and advise you of this and rearrange an alternative delivery date.

If you’re in a hurry or live locally, there is a Click and Collect option on most items in our online store. All you need to do is make your purchase online and select the Click and Collect option at checkout. One of our staff will contact you by phone when your order is ready for collection. Please allow at least 24 hours from time of order. This service is available from 9am to 5pm, Monday - Saturday, and 12pm to 5pm on Sundays and Bank Holidays.

Some very heavy or fragile items may be Click and Collect only.

 

 

 

Returns

These terms and conditions are specific when using our website and shopping with us online.

 

If you change your mind…

At Cois na hAbhann we want you to be able to shop with us with confidence. Should you change your mind and wish to return your online purchases, we are happy to offer a full refund* or exchange within 14 days**, provided your item is in a new, unused condition with its original packaging intact and you can provide proof of purchase. Please allow up to 48 hours for your return to be processed. An exchange or credit note will be offered on sale items. We are unable to offer a refund, exchange or credit note on certain products for hygiene and safety reasons. This does not affect your statutory rights.

NOTE: Custom made and specially ordered goods are not eligible for return or cancellation.

We do not offer free returns. All returns will be at the customer's own cost.

How do I return my order?

Option 1

Return your item in-store within 14 days of receiving your order. If returning your item in person to Cois na hAbhann, please ensure that you have your order number so we can quickly process your refund. 

 

Option 2

Please email us at marketing@coisnahabhann.ie if you would like to return your item. Bring your parcel to the local post office and organise to pay return postage. Please get proof of postage so that you can track the status of your return. Your items must be posted within 14 days after having received your order. You must include your details along with the item (name, order number, etc.).

Option 3

If your item is too large to post and you are unable to return it in-store, we can organise a courier to collect it. We will deduct the cost of the courier from the refund amount you are due.

When the package you have returned is received, your refund will be issued within 48 hours and funds should reach your bank account within 5 working days after that. Refunds will only be made to the original credit or debit card of purchase.

 

If there is a problem with your online purchase…

If the item you receive is damaged or faulty, please notify us as soon as possible after delivery so that we can rectify the situation.

You can do this by sending an email to marketing@coisnahabhnn.ie. Please include your order number, the name of the item and outline the fault or damage. Please attach images of the damage or a video of the fault. This will help speed up the process of organising a replacement/refund

We would also ask you to please keep any damaged products so that they can be inspected at a later date. If you dispose of any damaged products before we have had the opportunity to inspect them, this could affect any claim. We will always attempt to replace any damaged products. However, if we are unable to do so we will refund you the full amount you have paid for the product.

 

Online vs. In-store

Cois na hAbhann online and Cois na hAbhann in-store are considered two separate entities and prices and terms may vary.

The delivery charge for an item purchased in store is not necessarily the same as the online delivery charge. In-store delivery charges are assessed on a case-by-case basis.
